Kindergarten exhibitors must always be accompanied by an adult or Sr. 4H member when in the ring. If mounted, Kindergarten exhibitors must be led.

 Leadline class is open to Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade exhibitors. Entrants in this class may not enter classes 5 – 6 – 7 – 8, and must be led if entering classes 10 and 14.

 ASTM/SEI approved helmet/head gear is required for all riding classes and recommended, but not required, for Showmanship classes.

 Exhibitor to compete under grade just completed.

 Mini posters and Recognition of Graduating Members, Trail Club & the Judging Team will be on display in the barn. Come take a look!!!

All exhibitors must show in all 5 classes to be scored. Tack and clothing will be placed on a wagon and brought into the ring between classes. All tack and clothing changes will be made in the ring using only tack or clothing from the wagon. Each exhibitor may have 2 assistants (may not substitute once the class begins) and will have 5 minutes to make the changes.  All Jr. classes will be held and results read before the Sr. classes.

EACH EXHIBITOR & EACH HORSE MAY COMPETE IN EACH CLASS ONLY ONE TIME. IF THE CLASS REQUIRES A PARTNER & AN EXHIBITOR DOES NOT HAVE ONE, CHECK WITH THE ENTRY GATE.

ADULTS MUST SHOW HORSES ENROLLED IN THE 2010 WAYNE COUNTY HORSE & PONY PROJECT & MUST HAVE BEEN SHOWN BY 4H EXHIBITOR IN AT LEAST ONE CLASS DURING THIS YEAR’S FAIR.
